The color came off within days, Ive had it less than six months and the lid stopped closing down all the way and catching

Bought kettle aprox 3wks ago. nice colour (bronze/copper). Quick boil, quiet, no leaks. Negatives: a/ no LED to assist with visual as to water level. b/ after MANY times boiling water, (yes after following instructions as to "cleaning before first use") the kettle & water smells very much like "new warmed up plastic"! so, ever hopeful im boiling water in a pot for coffee + hope that some time soon the new plastic smells from this kettle goes away.

After 1 month it leaked through the base. Briscies hapoy to replace for an equal price product. But got it on sale for $39 so that's all they would replace it for.
