This steamer is great. Heats up fast and easy to clean. However timer is just that and only dings once - it does not turn off the steamer. It would keep on even if there is no water left - have missed timer twice and had this happen. Would give 5 star if it had auto-off function when there is no water.

Best thing I have ever bought. It's easy to use and is nice and quiet. I use it every day. Its very handy if you are not well. Just hand wash (may warp in dishwasher) and stack for next meal -simple! I wish i had bought it ten years ago!

Superb. Really brings out all those tasty flavours in your vegetables. Way better than boiling. Would highly recommend.

This machine is brilliant. I bought one actually to steam chicken and rice and veges for my dog who is on a special low fat diet - and it's amazing. Does everything I need it to do quietly and so easily. So now I'm getting a 2nd one to cook our meals with - it's that great! My only comment would be that the plastic trays are pretty lightweight and would crack probably in a dishwasher but some people might like how light it is. Would highly recommend this steamer.
