Boils the water but the black started to chip off as soon as I got it and the switch fell apart. Not worth $169 I payed $40 on sale luckily

After 2 weeks, it started to whistle. Lid doesn't close completely and kettle wobbles on it's base. Paid $40 and that's poor value, $170 is a scandal!

Brought this kettle and only had it for a month and the button that opens it won’t let the lid close. Not ideal when needed for feeding a baby.
