COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATE

Dear Customers, 

We continue to work with MBIE to monitor and add essential items to our available product. If you have any questions about this, please contact our Customer Service team. 

With the opening of some fulfilment sites we have implemented the government safety guidelines for our team. Examples of this include no site visitors, using reduced and only rostered staff on sites, as well as strictly adhering to the two metre exclusion zone mandate for all workers. Gloves are to be worn, as well as repeated handwashing and disinfecting to occur. The protection of our team through high hygiene standards and safety measures is our utmost priority.

Dear Customers,

We are working with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to ensure that the essential products you need from us, can now be delivered direct to your door.

Our stores will remain closed for the duration of the lockdown but any essential items for your home will now be available through our website or by phone order, for delivery only.

That’s products like heaters, duvet inners, blankets and kitchen appliances to keep your family warm and well during lockdown. Non-essential products are not available for purchase at this time.

The health and safety of our customers, employees and the entire country are of utmost importance to us at this time and we remain committed to adhering to Government guidelines while we fulfil your essential orders.

Delivery:

We have temporarily updated our delivery protocols to limit interaction and physical contact. Couriers will be required to leave customer parcels at a safe location, out of public sighting at the designated delivery address.

We will endeavour to deliver your order to you in 5-7 days.

Existing Orders:

If you have an existing order with us for an essential item, rest assured we are doing our best to get this order to you as soon as we can.

If you have an existing order with us for a non-essential item, unfortunately this cannot be dispatched until the delivery of non-essential goods resumes.

Dear Customers, 

A couple of small updates:

- We have some sale prices displaying on the site on some items even though you can't currently buy them. This is a system error that we're working to resolve. 

- Apologies if you have recieved an automated Click & Collect email, these have now been disabled. 

Our teams are working from home and doing everything we can to be ready when we are allowed to trade again. As usual, our customer service team are at your disposal with any questions or issues. We're nearly through week one, and we hope you and your families are safe and well.

Dear Customers,

As you know, we are now in Covid-19 Alert Level 4 and Briscoes has temporarily closed instore and online.

If you currently have a Home Delivery or Click & Collect order with us, we have done as much as we can at this stage, but we will be unable to send or allow pick up of your order until we re-open.  

As SOON as we are able we will get your order to you, and we promise to keep you updated in the meantime. We have also extended our returns policy to 60 days so anyone who’s purchased recently is not left in a difficult position.

If waiting doesn’t work for you, we are able to cancel your order. Please click here to do so.

Dear Customers, 

As of 5:30pm today, all of our stores are now closed and our online shopping is suspended. 

If you currently have an order in progress with us, we will be unable to send it until our online dispatch stores re-open. We have more information on this shortly. We have also extended our returns policy to 60 days.

Our priority is the health and well-being of our staff, their families, and our communities. Please bear with us as we navigate this new and unfamiliar situation.

Due to the outbreak and subsequent government mandated lockdown we have had to suspend the ability to order items on our website.

An update for our customers,

Navigating the unknown is always hard. But as we continue to better understand how to slow the spread of COVID-19 we‘re playing our part to protect our customers, our team and our communities.

To complement our existing hygiene practices and cleanliness standards in our stores, we have implemented additional precautionary measures to ensure we can continue to provide you with the safest experience possible.

We’re taking guidance from reputable sources, primarily the Ministry of Health, which recommends vigilant cleaning as one of the most effective measures.

Our online services continue to enable you to shop from wherever you are. As part of our online service, we also have Click & Collect services available in many of our stores, please check our website for your closest store.

We understand you will be concerned as to what we are doing to ensure that our team members remain safe and healthy. We’re working alongside our staff to ensure their questions are answered and that any concerns are heard and responded to appropriately.

Ensuring that everybody stays healthy is of the utmost priority for our business.
