This 26cm frypan from Scanpan Impact features a heavy impact bonded base with a disk of aluminium enveloped between 2 layers of high quality stainless steel to provide optimal heat transfer and retention. The walls are made from 18/10 stainless steeland the base has an 18/0 steel protector ensuring suitability for all cooktops including induction. Cast stainless steel handle with internal stainless steel rivets for added strength. Drip free pouring assist with fuss free cooking.

    Heats up quickly on induction. Use light olive oil. Heat it and when water spits add food as instruct Cooks well. Hardly sticks and cleans easily.

    Absolutely terrible....everything sticks to it no matter how you cook..... Would not buy again.

    Terrible frying pan! Everything stuck even with using oil or butter, tried using different temperatures and seasoning the pan but nothing worked and tried to return but got told I couldn't because I had used it and because stainless steel is not non stick so now I spent a lot on a pan that I will never use. Not happy!!

    Hazel - for stainless steel pan try heating the pan to hot, then add cold oil/fat. Wait for oil/fat to heat to cooking temp, then add the cold food this shouldn't stick ... So .. hot pan, cold oil, then when hot, add cold food .. seems to work for me :)

    Love using this pan. It takes a little getting used to cooking with ssteel but it's so worth it! Very even heat distribution. Just remember to always heat the pan first on low or medium low before adding the oil and let the oil get hot before adding the food. If searing don't try and move the food too quickly...leave it alone until it easily slides with a gentle nudge. No more toxic Teflon and having to replace pans every year or so...a win for both health and the environment.
