The mug can dent easily if you are not careful with it. It was fine until the black cushion pad glued onto the bottom fell off. what was underneath was a rusty screw. Not sure what it is for - holds the inner and outer together? Why would a well known brand like Thermos decided to use a screw that rusts when the rest of the travel cup is stainless steel? Not very nice to use now that the black glued on pad has come off revealing a rusty screw.
Not as good as you'd expect from Thermos. The main body seems ok, but the sliding cover in the lid lost it's ability to stay open/closed after only a couple of days. Now it keeps sliding closed while I'm trying to drink.Isn't going to prevent spills much, as the lid can come off quite easily, but that's to be expected for this type of lid.
