Had for 9 months before plate connecter broke down & couldn't raise to put sandwich in without sticking. Couldn't use as lid wouldn't raise past inch.

I purchased mind in 2009. Excellent value 4 x sandwich press. The element finally stopped working yesterday so I ordered a new one today. Recommended
