Hey people, I did some research on how to use stainless steel pans. This pan is really nice and durable. Do a water drop test before adding the oil in. If the water is running like a ball in your pan, it should be a good time to add your oil. Wait a little bit untill the oil is hot enough, you will see the oil starts to get an uneven surface. Then add your whatever food in.
Love this pan and going get another. Not sure why people having problems with sticking. I preheat to medium add a dash oil and away I go. If anything does stick it comes off as soon as I move the item. Love it
The first time I used the frypan on a low heat with a little oil, it tainted, looks disgusting and when you heat it now even on a low heat the residue heats quicker and burns the pan further.(This is all from a pan that can go in the oven to 260 degrees) Not pleased and apparently Briscoes dont stand behind there product as they wont take back as they think it is acceptable. Not pleased at all. Shameful product and service
Bought 2 of these pans. Everything sticks, even though used on low settings. Bought a $25 copper frying pan from Countdown suitable for my induction stove, brilliant!!
Nice heavy pan, holds heat well. Base difficult to clean as food sticks even when used on lower heat.
Paid top dollar to buy a celebrity endorsed frypan but couldn't be more disappointed. Followed manufacturer's instructions to the letter but pan burns and food sticks. At the point of throwing out. Wouldn't recommend.
Bought a large and a small stainless steel frypan.Followed instructions and am gutted they both stick. What a rip off real crappy product.
Not recommended for induction.Meat burns and sticks to the bottom , hard to make a nice pancake.Regret, having this frypan
I got this recently, been heating it on low, adding oil, then increasing the temperature - every time I have had the same problem with things sticking. Despite trying to gently clean the pan this is not working.Disappointed, will be returning it and getting a different brand.
Do NOT BUY!!!!Thought I was buying a good quality frypan as recommended by top master chef Simon Gault but was sadly mistaken . Food burns really quickly, everything sticks to pan and really hard to clean. Frypan tarnished after only 3 uses . Tried to return to Briscoes but their answer was " just normal wear and tear !!What a joke !! SO I RECOMMEND you not to waste your money .
What a disaster..I jus want to throw it in the trash...I will be taking it bak to Briscoe and Simon gault I will never buy again...
I use this at mum and dads and love it- not sure what issues people are having with food sticking as I've found it to be fine. It's a nice attractive design, good weight, handy lip and cleans really well. Ours looks brand new a year later
