Quite underwhelmed with this pan. Whilst it’s totally non-stick, the pan has bowed after only three or four uses. The oil runs to to outermost edges!
Without a doubt the worst frying I have ever brought, and to think I stood in the shop justifying the cost to my wife!
After the second use the pan is stained and no longer non-stick. I cook Bratwurst on medium heat using extra virgin olive oil and that seems to have permanently ruined the pan after owning it for a week. Very unimpressed at this $120 pan. Returning it when I can find the receipt. I have tried boiling white wine vinegar and water, did nothing to remove the stain.
I agree with above comment.
Within a few days of getting this pan stuff was sticking.I never used metal utensils on it or put it in the dishwasher. However when returning it I received a full on lecture about these things.
I have purchased this brand before and never had issues BUT if you want non-stick DO NOT buy this one. I followed instructions, cooked on low heat. It takes forever to heat up but then all the food does is stick .especially eggs which would not come off the bottom. This happened from day one. Briscoes refunded with no questions.
I wanted to avoid aluminium/ Teflon, and found this pan to be better than a stainless- steel one. It does need getting used to, not as non-stick as Teflon or ceramic coating. Can be cleaned using steel wool, brushing lightly.
Terrible pan, used it on medium/low yet seemed to overheat in the middle, stuff in the center got burnt while outside edges barely touched.
Actually a solid carbon steel pan. needs seasoning like cast iron then work great. not a cheap teflon coat that scratches off like we are used to.
Definitely not non stick! For a more expensive pan it isnt very good at all.
Great pan. Real non stick. You just have to treat it as a cast iron pan. Heat it hot, add a bit of oil, wipe it even with paper towels. Reduce the heat to medium. It can make perfect sunny side up eggs and so on.
Great pan. Its carbon steel so must be treated more like cast iron. Its lighter than cast iron which i really like. Holds heat well. Sears meat much better than typical non stick pan.
What people seem to missing is this pan really is a steak pan etc nt for cooking eggs there are plenty of other pans for that but very few dedicated to cooking a good steak such as this one
The worst non stick pan I have ever bought.
