Pepper one gave out on us. The light on the salt one has stopped working. A tip for the pepper grinder is to use cracked pepper not whole peppercorns.

Salt grinder gave up just outside of warranty. Pepper one is fine. Expected it to last as my last manual one of 25yrs!

Both require 4 x aa batteries, that fine but the pepper one can't handle grinding pepper corns, I have changed batteries twice now in 9 months!

Disappointing. Doesn't grind pink salt crystals. Peppercorns are ground slightly better. Continuously have to shake it to get the crystals to fall into the grinder base. only grinds for 5 seconds and stops again. Wouldn't recommend this set
